Kim started his career as an actor, in Rome and the City of Vatican, he changed his direction to more casting director, then he ended up specialising in ethnical casting becoming the main source in Rome, if not in Italy, for casting of all sorts of ethnicities. He is a firm promotor of artistic integration with no room for racial discrimination!
He worked with many well known artists and directors among others: Spike Lee, Quincy Jones, Bernardo Bertolucci, Jay Bethea, , Alfie Nze, Ben Oduwole, Kadour Naimi, Véra Belmont , Cinthia Torrini, Cristina Comencini, Eugenio Capuccio, Paolo virzi’, Pupi Avati, Carlo e Enrico Vanzina, Manetti brothers , Giacomo Campiotti…and many more.
In the year 2000 he founded “Malcolm X Casting” still to these days active in promoting multi ethnicity in the Film Industry. He also has been, several times, an outstanding member of the jury for the Independent Rome Film Festival.
In 2012 he moved to NZ with his family where he still operates in the industry as a casting director at an international level.
At present he is also the co-founder of I-KfcNZ joint-venture.
